  Steps for buying a home.

Call an Agent!Waiting until you find a home you want to see is the wrong time to call an agent.  The agent is there to help you through common mistakes made by buyers; use them.  They save you time, money, and by calling an agent ahead of time, you can ensure he / she is working for you and not the seller.

Get Pre-Qualified!Getting pre-qualified means going to a bank and they will briefly look at your financial stability and issue a pre-qualified statement.  With a pre-qualified statement, you can make an offer when you find the home of your dreams.

Home tours!By now one of our agents has set you up with our interactive buyers page and auto email system.  This system allows you to control the search criteria, keep saved searches for easy recall, easily track new listings and view price reductions.  This saves a tremendous amount of time and makes finding your dream home a much easier and often much faster process.  Touring homes becomes fun and exciting rather than frustrating and disappointing.

Making an offer! Now that you have toured homes with your agent (not the sellers) and have found the home of your dreams, you are ready to make an offer.

Attorneys! This is where your attorney will come in.  Your attorney will review the contract and the legal process will begin.

Coordinating!Lots of coordinating with the attorney(s), agent(s), bank(s) and inspectors will take place throughout this process to bring the sale to a successful closing date.

Move in!Move in and send your / our agent and thank you card.
